The GSA Has Named SICORP as an Awardee for its STARS II GWAC Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity Contract
STARS (Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services) II is a $10 billion government-wide acquisition contract that features pre-qualified and designated firms based on competitive pricing, technical proficiency, and industry credentials. The GSA 8(a) STARS II GWAC enables federal DOD and civilian agencies to access a wide range of competitively-priced IT services from a group of exceptional small-business technology partners.
As a result of an extensive evaluation process SICORP was named an awardee of the GSA STARS II contract in Constellation 1. With its streamlined buying process STARS II provides federal and state agencies direct and easy access to SICORP’s innovative and integrated technology solutions and services at competitive prices.
The STARS II contract is pre-competed and thus faster and easier to utilize than traditional open-market bidding, significantly reducing procurement efforts. This multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract has a five-year base and one five-year option. Benefits of the program include a shortened procurement lead-time, a low user access fee (0.75 percent), and no protests on orders under $10 million.
